The backup service is based on VEEAM technology

Most of the customers of Primend use the services of Office 365 in their daily work. Such services are Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams and Power BI.

	Why use a separate backup service?
	Microsoft does not provide backup for Office 365 and Microsoft 365 services, only keeps your deleted data for a short-term: For Exchange Online the maximum period is about 90 days For SharePoint Online and OneDrive it is about 60 days There is currently no backup service for Microsoft Teams
	What is VEEAM Backup for Microsoft Office 365?
	It provides a possibility for backup of all the Office 365 tenant, including either all the services or only the selected services It is possible to back up data on Primend Cloud environment or Azure Blob disk array by Microsoft Azure A customer may set up the backup period as desired Recovery is fast Also enables recovery of individual files
	3 things are required for use of cloud backup service:
	Veeam Backup for Office 365 license A location where the back-up should be created (Primend cloud environment, Azure, own server centre) A partner to set up Veeam and provide support
	How is Veeam Backup for Office 365 licensed and priced?
	The license price for one Veeam user is 1.48€ per month (Veeam is licensed per user, the number of users can be changed on an ongoing basis and the price is calculated on a monthly basis) Backing up data in a cloud environment costs ~20€ per month for 1TB of data Backup service monitoring and management per tenant costs: up to 30 users - 50€ per month more than 30 users - 100€ per month The fee for initial setup of the service depends on the size of the project Restoring data from a backup is charged on an hourly basis
