Copilot for Microsoft 365 is expanding to customers with Microsoft 365 F1 and F3, Office 365 E1, Microsoft 365 Business Basic licenses

In the coming weeks, the licensing requirements for Copilot for Microsoft 365 will be extended to include Microsoft 365 F1, Microsoft 365 F3, Office 365 E1, and Microsoft 365 Business Basic.

Currently, Copilot for Microsoft 365 licensing requirements mandate that customers must possess a prerequisite license for each Copilot user, which includes Microsoft 365 E3/5, Office 365 E3/5, or Microsoft 365 Business Standard/Business Premium.

To enable a wider range of users to access the capabilities of artificial intelligence, Microsoft is making Copilot available to all types and sizes of businesses, including frontline worker license agreements. Customers with Microsoft 365 F3 and F1, Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Office 365 E1 licenses will be able to purchase Copilot for Microsoft 365 in the coming weeks.
